Essential Information for Travelling Fans

Brentford will face Leicester City in the Premier League at King Power Stadium on Friday, February 21, with an 8:00 PM (GMT) kick-off. The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK. If you’re planning to attend and here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your trip.


Travel Information

Train Travel – Save 20% with Trainline

Brentford FC has partnered with Trainline to offer fans a 20% discount on rail travel for the match. After purchasing your match ticket, you’ll receive an email with a unique discount code within 1-2 working days. Therefore, use this code when booking your train tickets. Terms and conditions apply.

Train Services to Leicester

  • Direct trains to Leicester depart every 30 minutes from London St Pancras International.
  • Journey time is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • On arrival, bus services 80 and 20 take you to within a five-minute walk of the stadium, or it’s a 25-minute walk.
  • The last direct train back to London departs at 10:52 PM.
  • Advance booking is recommended via Trainline.

Travelling by Car

  • Stadium Parking: Available on Filbert Street for £19 per car. Must be pre-booked – no on-the-day bookings. Book here.
  • Alternative Parking: Independent car parks near the stadium (Freemans Common, Leicester Tigers Rugby Club) cost around £5 and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-Match Activities

The Barley Mow – Meet Fellow Fans & Win a Signed Shirt!

Join other Brentford supporters at The Barley Mow pub near Leicester Station to build up the atmosphere before the game. A raffle for a signed Brentford shirt will also be held.

Note: There are no designated away pubs near the stadium. The Counting House, a former away-fan favorite, is permanently closed. The city center offers plenty of alternative food and drink options.


Matchday Information

Ticket Collection

  • Collect from Brentford’s box office at Gtech Community Stadium until 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 20.
  • After this, tickets must be collected from King Power Stadium’s matchday ticket collection point (left of the Foxes Fan Store). Opens 90 minutes before kick-off.
  • Duplicate ticket requests must go through Brentford’s box office.
  • Bring ID for ticket collection.

Stadium Entry

  • Away fans enter via turnstiles 40-49 (North-East corner). Gates open 90 minutes before kick-off.
  • Accessible entry is at turnstiles 42 and 43.
  • Bag Policy: Bags larger than A4 size are not permitted. No bag storage is available at the stadium.
  • Multi-Faith Prayer Room: Available upon request – ask a steward.
  • Reporting Issues: To report discrimination or harassment, text ‘FOXES’ along with your message, seat details, and the issue to 60066.

Accessibility

  • Wheelchair Access: Available for away fans.
  • Accessible Toilets: RADAR keys provided by accessibility stewards.
  • Assistance Available: Stewards can help with ordering food/drinks.
  • Visually Impaired Fans: Audio-descriptive headsets available upon request.
  • Guide Dogs: Must be pre-arranged with Leicester’s Disability Liaison Officer via disability@lcfc.co.uk.
