Scientists have made the skin of mice “invisible” using a food color additive. This kind of breakthrough could pave the way for medical imaging and diagnostics to move beyond the traditional methods such as X-rays or MRI scans. In the future, we could visualize a developing fetus inside the womb without the need for ultrasound or other imaging methods.
